OnlyFans model Scarlet Vas, formerly known for playing the role of Mishti Sharma on the popular soap opera, Neighbours, received a harsh response during a public interaction for social media content.
In a video posted on her TikTok account, Vas can be heard asking a man wearing a hoodie whether he thought she was attractive. When he responded with “Eh, not really”, Scarlet Vas asked him to elaborate, to which he replied that there are many more attractive people out there and no one will be “simping over” her.
The term “simping” refers to the act of obsessing over someone who doesn’t reciprocate one’s feelings.
The video has since gone viral, receiving over 39.7 million views and garnering mixed reactions. Some commenters praised the man for his straightforward response, while others criticized him for body shaming Vas.
A few users also used the slang term “sigma,” which refers to a highly independent and self-reliant man in masculinist subcultures.
Scarlet Vas has not yet provided a comment on the incident. This video has surpassed the viewership of her other videos on TikTok, which typically receive between 500,000 and 2 million views.
